The meter is the problem, not the reader

If you have used Psychic Source, you already know how the bill works. You pay by the minute, and the minute keeps running while your reader reads your question, thinks, and types. In text chat that is the whole cost problem in one sentence: you are paying for typing speed.

Public rate checks put regular Psychic Source rates at about $4.99 to $14.99 per minute. The welcome offer brings new customers in at $1 per minute with three free minutes, but that is the first purchase price, not the ongoing rate. Here is what the regular rate does to an ordinary session:

  • 10 minutes at $4.99 per minute: $49.90
  • 10 minutes at $14.99 per minute: $149.90
  • 20 minutes at $4.99 per minute: $99.80
  • 20 minutes at $14.99 per minute: $299.80

You do not know which of those numbers your session costs until it is over. That unknown total is the reason people go looking for an alternative.

What Psychic Source customers say when they leave

The complaints repeat the same few themes across public review pages:

  • Slow replies burn paid time. Reviewers describe getting a few sentences in four or five paid minutes while the reader typed.
  • Refunds come back as time, not money. The stated remedy for an unsatisfying last reading is credit back, capped at 20 minutes, and it has to be requested within about a day. A prediction that needs weeks to play out cannot be judged inside that window.
  • Even an offline message is metered. Sending a message to a reader who is not online has been billed as five minutes at that reader's rate.

None of that is a complaint about one bad reader. It is a complaint about the billing model, and it shows up under every per minute service, not just this one.

How SpiritClick charges instead

SpiritClick sells counted answers, and the total is printed before you start:

  • First answer: free
  • Single answer: $9.99
  • 7 answers: $35
  • 15 answers: $60
  • 30 answers: $99
  • 50 answers: $150
  • 110 answers: $300

Your reader can take the time your question actually needs. A careful answer costs the same as a fast one, because nothing is metered. There is no balance quietly draining while someone types, and no surprise total at the end of the session.
