Is Mars retrograde right now?

NoMars is moving forward (direct) right now. Next retrograde: January 10, 2027 to April 1, 2027.

What Mars retrograde means

Mars turns retrograde roughly every two years and stays that way for about ten weeks. Like every retrograde, this is an apparent backward motion seen from Earth, created as our faster planet overtakes the slower red one. Mars describes drive, courage, competition and how we handle frustration, so this stretch is often read as a time to review strategy rather than charge ahead. Projects may move more slowly, which can be a gift if it helps you spot weak points early. Some people notice old irritations bubbling up, offering a chance to deal with them calmly. Steady effort, good rest and honest reflection on what you are really fighting for tend to serve well here.

Good things to do

Rework a plan before relaunching it
Choose steady movement you enjoy
Name what really sits under your anger

Go easy on

Starting fights just to prove a point
Forcing a launch that is not ready
Spreading your energy too thin
