Questions people bring

Are we compatible?

Sun sign compatibility is the thinnest version of this question. An astrologer comparing both birth charts (synastry) can show where you are likely to click and where you are likely to rub, and a reading sets that beside how the two of you live day to day. No chart can say a relationship will last or fail; it gives you words for what you already feel.

Sun signs give you a headline. Two full birth charts laid side by side say far more, and a reading puts that next to how you actually get along.

What a reader can tell you

The compatibility tables online compare sun signs, so a Scorpio and a Leo get the same verdict as every other Scorpio and Leo on earth. Most astrologers treat that as a starting point at best. The fuller method, synastry, lays both birth charts over each other and looks at how one person's moon, Venus and Mars land in the other's chart. It needs birth dates, and ideally birth times and places, and it says a good deal more than "fire and water do not mix".

What synastry does well is name dynamics. Why one of you needs to talk a fight through tonight and the other needs a day. Why the attraction was instant and the washing up is a war. Hard aspects are not a sentence; plenty of long marriages have them, and an easy chart is no promise either. A reader can show you where the friction sits so you can talk about it instead of blaming each other for it.

What a chart cannot do is replace the evidence of the relationship itself: how you repair after a fight, whether you want the same kind of life, how you treat each other when you are tired. Bring that to the chat along with the birth details. If you have only just met, a reading can point out where to pay attention; if you are years in, it can put words to the argument you have been having since the start.
