Questions people bring

What does my birth chart say about love?

A birth chart cannot tell you who you will love or when. Astrologers read it for how you love: Venus for what attracts you and how you show affection, the moon for what you need to feel safe, Mars for desire, and the seventh house for the partnership you look for. A reading turns that into plain language about your own patterns.

Your chart cannot name a person, but it has a lot to say about how you love: what draws you, what you need, and where you tend to get stuck.

What a reader can tell you

A natal chart is a map of the sky at the moment and place you were born, and astrologers read several parts of it for love. Venus describes what you find beautiful and how you give affection. Mars covers desire and how you go after it. The moon shows what you need to feel safe with someone, which is the part people most often overlook. The seventh house describes what you look for in a committed partner, and sometimes what you keep choosing without meaning to.

The useful reading puts these together rather than one at a time. A Venus that wants romance beside a moon that needs a lot of room can explain a run of near misses. An astrologer will ask for your birth time, because the houses depend on it, and will usually ask about your actual history so the chart is read against your life rather than in the abstract. Without a birth time, a reading can still cover Venus, Mars and usually the moon sign.

What the chart will not do is promise a partner, a wedding year or a soulmate. Anyone offering that from a chart is reading past what the tradition supports. What it does well is give you words for patterns: why you fall for the unavailable ones, why calm feels boring, what you need that you have stopped asking for. Aim to leave with one thing to look for in a partner and one thing to stop excusing.
