Questions people bring

Will he leave her for me?

His decision is his own and out of any reader's sight, and no reading should be the reason you wait another year. What you can weigh with a reader is what he has done rather than promised: a date set, a conversation with her, a move out. Then what you want, what you are getting now, and how long you are willing to give it.

Many people who ask this have heard "soon" more than once. A reading cannot tell you what he will do, but it can look honestly at what he has done and what the waiting costs you.

What a reader can tell you

Readers hear this question often, and the honest ones answer it the same way: nobody can tell you what he will decide. What you can do together is separate what he says from what he does. Has anything changed in his life, or only in what he tells you about it? Is there a date, and has it moved? Has she been told anything? Promises are easy to make in private, and the facts you can check usually say more than the feelings he describes.

The question also has you in it. Being the secret one is lonely: holidays alone, plans that fall through, a phone you cannot call at night. It is worth looking, with a reader, at what this is giving you and what it is costing you, and whether you would want the relationship if it had to stand in daylight. Those are not judgements. They are the questions that help people decide how long to wait, and whether to wait at all.

Tarot readers often turn to spreads for third party situations here, and to the Two of Swords, a card of a choice held off; some people reach for karmic language too. All of these are ways of seeing the shape of things, not a deadline for him or proof that it is fated. If the secrecy is wearing on your sleep or your health, talk to a counsellor or a friend you trust as well. Whatever you choose, make it a choice of your own, not a wait for his.
