Questions people bring

Is my loved one sending me signs?

No reader can prove that a sign came from someone who has died, and one who says it certainly did is claiming more than anyone can know. A live reading can look at what you noticed, when it came and what it stirred in you, and help you keep it in a way that comforts rather than unsettles. For many people the meaning matters more than the proof.

A cardinal at the window, their song on the radio, a feather on the step. A reading cannot prove where a sign came from, but it can help you hold what it meant to you.

What a reader can tell you

The signs people bring are remarkably alike: a cardinal or a robin that keeps coming back, feathers and dimes in odd places, their song on the radio at the exact moment, lights that flicker, the smell of their perfume or their cigarettes with no source in the room. Many traditions read these as a loved one letting you know they are near. Grief also sharpens attention, so you notice what you would once have walked past. Both can be true at once, and a reader will not ask you to choose.

What a reader looks at is the pattern rather than the object. When did it happen: on a birthday, an anniversary, the morning you were not coping? What were you thinking about just before? Did it feel like comfort, or did it leave you anxious, waiting for the next one? Readers who work as mediums may share an impression of their own, and they should offer it as an impression. If someone tells you your loved one has an urgent message that only they can deliver, step back; that is a sales line, not a sign.

If the signs have stopped, or never came, that is not a verdict on the love between you. Plenty of people who were very close to someone notice nothing at all, and the article below on that is worth reading. Keep a small note of what you notice and when; a pattern is easier to see on paper than at three in the morning. If waiting for the next sign has started to fill your days, or the signs frighten you more than they comfort you, a bereavement counsellor can help with the grief underneath them.
