At Keen, Kasamba, California Psychics and Psychic Source, a reading is billed by the minute, at a rate that depends on the reader. On their own sites, checked on October 29, 2026, the advisor rates shown on the listings we read ran from $1.99 to $26.99 a minute (Psychic Source's pricing page says its rates start at $0.99), and each offered new customers an introductory deal.

Keen charges each advisor's own rate. Its category pages showed $1.99 to $15.55 a minute. New customers get their first 5 minutes for $1, once per customer, and then pay the advisor's rate. Keen offers phone and chat and says it has no subscriptions.

Kasamba advisors also set their own rates, with chat and voice priced separately. Advisor cards showed starting rates of $1.99 to $26.99 a minute, and some voice prices were higher than the chat price. Kasamba's terms round any partial minute up to a full minute. New customers get 3 free minutes on a first reading, but a card or payment method is required before they start.

California Psychics prices by the psychic's tier, from $5 to $23 a minute, paid from funds or a package you load in advance. New customers who buy 5 minutes get 15 more free, 20 minutes in total, starting from $25. It offers phone, chat and text.

Psychic Source deducts the minutes used times the advisor's rate from a prepaid balance. Its pricing page says rates start at $0.99 a minute; the advisor profiles we checked showed regular rates of $4.99 to $12.99. New customers can pay as low as $1 a minute on a first purchase. It offers phone, chat and video.

How does per-answer billing work at SpiritClick?

At SpiritClick you open a reader's chat in your browser, type a question, and the reader replies by typed message.
